Lecture on "The Role of National Human Rights Institutions in Georgia's European Integration"
On 16 December, by University of Zaragoza invitation, Gvantsa Davitashvili, Professor at School of Politics and Diplomacy of New Vision University, delivered a lecture on "The Role of National Human Rights Institutions in Georgia's European Integration." During the lecture, Gvantsa Davitashvili spoke in detail about the growing importance of civil society in the process of approximation with the European Union, especially in the context of judicial reform, freedom of expression and equality. In addition, the European Union efforts towards supporting the national human rights institutions were discussed.
The lecture was conducted remotely and was attended by students from the University of Zaragoza, as well as other interested persons.
