New Vision University is a non-profit institution founded in 2013, Tbilisi, Georgia, with a mission to expand the individual's vision by promoting education, research and innovation.
University is guided by the motto โ โInspire to Careโ and promotes knowledge, skills, and values that contribute to personal growth and the well-being of society. The universityโs diverse academic community represents over 90 countries.
The university creates and expands opportunities in higher education, research and various sectors of the industry. Subsidiary Companies
University has established a non-commercial university hospital, which along with New Vision Health Hub offer comprehensive clinical services, increase accessibility to healthcare services and provide clinical training opportunities for students.
NV-Genetics is the countryโs first molecular laboratory to offer on-site molecular tumor profiling for oncology patients using modern Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology, to advance cancer diagnostics and research.
FC Torpedo Kutaisi - a regional football club with distinct history in Georgian football is owned by NVU since 2021. The decision was made based on the commitment to social responsibility, namely to support regional development. Subsequently, research in the field of football became one of the major research areas of the university.
INTER Academy Georgia is the first international football academy in country, promoting youth training based on international best practice, healthy lifestyle among children and overall development of the field. University also owns futsal club โNew Vision Georgiansโ.
In the field of finances, University is represented by New Vision Insurance, and New Vision Leasing. Both of the companies contribute to the practical skills development of the students of the relevant programs and at the same time expand the social mission of the university. New Vision Leasing, among other goals, aims to enhance usage of renewable, predominantly solar energy through small and medium enterprises in Georgia.
University investments in arts and cultural heritage include New Vision Films which support development of the film industry in Georgia, while acquisition of Zarapkhana, oldest jewelry company in Georgia aims to support preservation of cultural heritage and support for its popularization.
The subsidiary companies of NVU enact its mission and vision to promote development of the society and the inseparability of learning and teaching, research, innovation and social service.
Research
NVU's research activities serve societal needs, are based on collaborative approaches and focused on practical implementation. NVU laboratories with leading technologies include the Zeiss Microscopy Educational and Research Center, Biomedicine and Hematology Research Laboratories, Blood Bank, Genetics Research Center. The university, expands its research, including by defining and developing new research areas and investing in the priority fields.
University publishes Georgian Law Review which unites expert and research papers, as well as doctoral dissertations. NVU renewed the GEPLACโs Law journal in 2015 that played significant role in the harmonization of the Georgian National legislation to the European legislation since 1998.
New Vision University implements doctoral programs in Law, Medicine, Education Science, Life Science and Business Administration. The vision on doctoral education is based on the development of new generation of scholars, contributing to the development of the field and society through innovative research.
Social Engagement
NVU places a strong emphasis on social responsibility and therefore, has been implementing various social outreach programs, aimed at supporting its vision, development of community and increasing its positive impact on society. NVU's public-engagement initiatives also serves as an integrated educational model, combining learning, practical, real-world experience and social service, NVU prepares socially conscious professionals.
- Ensuring Access to Legal Services
Since 2014, NVUโs Legal Aid Center has been delivering free legal assistance in civil and administrative matters to individuals and businesses across Georgia. Having supported over 1,500 beneficiaries, the Center enables law studentsโnot only from NVU but also from other universitiesโto gain hands-on experience through real-case internships. About 250 students have already participated in this learning-by-doing initiative. The activities of the center are reinforcing NVUโs educational philosophy and enhancing studentsโ professional growth.
- Community Development through Football
Football for NVU is a vehicle for regional development, social cohesion and transformation. Through the university-owned football clubs, University fosters economic growth, regional identity, job creation, healthy lifestyles, and social inclusion. University is aligning sports initiatives with institutional values and research goals. Footballโs effect on societies is one of the research priorities of NVU.
- Improving Access to Healthcare
As the founder of Georgiaโs sole non-commercial medical institution โthe New Vision University Hospital โ NVU promotes accessible healthcare services. Since 2022, its personalized womenโs healthcare program has offered subsidized early diagnostic and preventive care. The program also aims to serve 1,000 female teachers.
In 2018, NVU established Georgiaโs first non-profit blood bank, which has since facilitated over 1,500 donations. This initiative not only addresses critical blood supply needs but also encourages engagement in donations.

- Engagement with Schools for Civic, Law and Sustainability Education
NVU has collaborated with the Council of Europe, ProCredit Bank, and the UN Global Compact Network Georgia on sustainability projects for schools. These initiatives โ such asย SMART Schools for Sustainable Solutions โ empower students to design and implement SDG-aligned projects. Aย related project for schools inspired nearly 200 students to submit sustainable development-themed logo designs showcased at Earth Day event.
The University also conducts aย practical law and skills clinic, within which the masters of the law school inform the high school students about the important and relevant issues in the field of law that are essential for each citizen and the study of which ensures the formation of a highly conscious society.
