QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality is the part of New Vision University’s institutional identity and a shared responsibility of the university community. The Quality Culture system ensures that academic, research, and administrative practices are aligned with institutional strategic goals, as well as national and international standards and developed continuously to support NVU’s vision.

By continuously developing the quality of educational programs, teaching and learning, ensuring the alignment of educational, research, and administrative functions with defined quality standards, NVU develops a culture of accountability and trust.

The university’s Quality Culture System is based on the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle – ensuring continuous improvement across all areas:

  • Plan: Evaluation methods and ways of responding to the results are designed based on stakeholder input (including students, alumni, and employers), external market research and other evidence.
  • Do: Planned mechanisms are implemented through both internal and external mechanisms, including early diagnostics, teaching and learning evaluations, and administrative assessments.
  • Check: Data is collected and analyzed to assess outcomes, as well as the effectiveness of applied mechanisms.
  • Act: Revisions are introduced to refine existing processes, tools, and policies.

In line with the vision of the shared responsibility in quality assurance, the central body responsible for ensuring the advancement of the quality at NVU is the Quality Culture Committee, composed of school representatives, a student and the student ombudsman.  The Quality Culture System at NVU is aimed at engagement of the university community in the implementation of quality assurance mechanisms, as well as raising awareness on the quality culture system of the university.

The aims of the Quality Culture system, as well as QA processes and mechanisms implemented for QA processes, are defined by the management regulation.
