Annual Conference on Legal Ethics

On May 10, the Annual Conference on Legal Ethics was held for the second time. Speakers at the conference discussed the newest challenges and problems of the discipline, such as confidentiality and conflicts of interest, practical and ethical challenges for arbitrators, an attorney’s freedom of speech in social media, along with fees, trust funds and other fiduciary duties of lawyers. The conference was organized by NVU Legal Ethics Chair with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the framework of East-West Management Institute’s (EWMI) project - Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG).
