What we've done
Annual Basketball Tournament
April, 2025
The competition was traditionally held in three categories: girls’, boys’, and mixed teams, bringing together students to showcase their teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship on the court. The basketball tournament, organized each semester by NVU Ballers, has become a well-loved tradition that promotes both athletic spirit and community engagement among students.
The award ceremony for the winners took place at New Vision University’s new campus during the Cultural Festival, celebrating the achievements of the teams and their contribution to the vibrant student life at NVU.
Basketball and Athletics Tournament
The NVU Ballers hosted an exciting Basketball and Athletics Tournament from May 16th to May 19th, 2024. The tournament brought together teams from across the university, showcasing outstanding athleticism and sportsmanship.
Participants competed in various basketball and athletics events, culminating in a thrilling display of talent and camaraderie. Winners were awarded during the Cultural Carnival held by the Cultural Society, celebrating their achievements in front of a vibrant audience.
Winter Basketball Tournament 2023
In the first week of December 2023, NVU Ballers hosted an exciting Basketball Tournament at New Vision University, open to all students and featuring Men, Women, and Mixed Team categories. The event drew enthusiastic participation across teams.
Over the course of several days, students showcased their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit in a series of thrilling matches. The tournament provided an engaging platform for players to connect, compete, and celebrate their love for basketball.
