In 2013, Tamar Kvaratskhelia was awarded the status of a qualified medical doctor by Tbilisi State Medical University. In 2017, she graduated from the same university's residency program in the direction of endocrinology and became a certified endocrinologist. Within the framework of the residency program, she underwent clinical practice in Turkey at the Ataturk University Clinic of Erzurum, Department of Endocrinology. In 2022, she obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University, in the program of medicine, in the direction of human genetics and endocrinology.
Since 2014, she has been an invited lecturer at Tbilisi State Medical University, English and Georgian language programs. Since 2018, she has been engaged in clinical practice as a doctor-endocrinologist.
Since 2020, she has been working at New Vision University and University Hospital, both in academic and clinical endocrinology. Tamar is a participant in many international conferences and training courses. Reports have been presented at 12 international conferences. She has repeatedly received grants from the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, and the European Society of Human Genetics. She has published 17 scientific papers and is a member of many professional, and international associations.
