Taleb Ali Jeddy is a Consultant General Surgeon at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is the lead surgeon for endocrine surgery at Basildon Hospital and performs a large number of thyroid and parathyroid operations. He has a special interest in performing laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for groin hernias. Also, Taleb Ali is an experienced in performing laparoscopic gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy) and laparoscopy adrenalectomy and has been performing day case laparoscopic cholecystectomy since 1999. He performs complex vascular surgical procedures such as carotid artery endarterectomy and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. For varicose veins he offers surgical treatment and endogenous laser treatment.

He has carried out day case thyroid operations since 2001. His results has been presented at various national and international congresses of ambulatory and endocrine surgery in the UK, Europe and the USA including at the World Congress of Ambulatory Surgery in Boston.
