Sergo Esadze
Professor in Architecture and Engineering

Sergo Esadze was granted the academic degree of a Candidate of Technical Sciences in 1991 and of a Doctor of Technical Sciences - in 2001. Since 2002 he has been a professor at the Civil Engineering Department of the Georgian Technical University. In 1986-89 he worked as an engineer in the Institute of Power Engineering and Hydraulic Structures; In 1989-92 he worked as an engineer-designer in the Scientific-Research Institute of Zonal and Experimental Designing; In 1989-92 he was a research worker in the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Seismic Stability. Sergo Esadze has worked in the Georgian Technical University since 1992. He has 27-year experience of teaching. In 2006-2007 he was the head of the Academic Process Management and Development Department of Georgian Technical University; in 2007-2011 – the head of the Quality Assurance Department of the Georgian Technical university. He participated in three scientific grant projects as a co-manager and a member of the personnel. He also participated in a number of designing and expert evaluation works as a chief structural engineer and main contractor, in international projects associated with science administration and quality assurance. He is the author of several scientific papers and two manuals. Sergo Esadze has translated professional literature, standards and engineering designs.
