Rusudan Sujashvili
Professor in Medical Physics and Biophysics

Rusudan Sujashvili completed a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Since 2016, she is a professor at the New Vision Medical School in medical physics and biophysics. She has extensive experience in teaching and scientific research. Currently, Ms. Sujashvili serves as a Senior Scientist, head of the Molecular Biophysics group for the Department of Biophysics at the I. Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine (2010-16). She is a member of the board of various international editorial boards, as well as the member of European Society for Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation (E.S.C.H.M) and that of Georgian Rheology Association. Her work was presented in several international forums in Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain and the United States. In 2016, a project supervised by Ms. Sujashvili won the grant competition of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The project is utilized in partnership with I. Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine, New Vision University, and New Vision University Hospital. She has published over fifteen scientific studies.
