Nikoloz Khatiashvili holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations from the Georgian Technical University. He is currently a PhD candidate in International Relations at Tbilisi State University.

He has 18 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, including serving as Head of the Secretariat of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia (2017–2025), holding various positions in the Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia (2012–2017), and earlier working in the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality. Since 2021, he has been a Senior Researcher at the analytical center GEOCASE.

Nikoloz is the author of approximately 60 articles and studies and the co-author of one handbook. He has participated in numerous international conferences, forums, and research projects.
