Merab Dekanosidze is a maxillofacial surgeon at the Quality of Life Improvement Center of New Vision University. He has worked at various times as the Head of the maxillofacial surgery Department at the Michael the Archangel Multiprofile Clinical Hospital, as a maxillofacial surgeon at the Eurodent Clinic and in the maxillofacial surgery department of the TSU University Clinic.

He had also been an Assistant Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and had held assistant positions at the Caucasus International University and the Department of Dentistry of the David Agmashenebeli University of Georgia.
