Marco Seghesio

Associate Professor in Comparative Labor Law

Marco Seghesio holds a law degree from the University of Pavia and a doctorate in “Comparative Law and Processes of Integration” from the Luigi Vanvitelli University of Campania. His areas of expertise include comparative labour law, comparative private law, and comparative religious law. Author of numerous scientific publications in the field of comparative law and speaker at national and international conferences, he has previously taught “Comparative Protection of Human Rights” and “Comparative Private Law” at the University of Milan, Department of Political and Social Sciences, and “Comparative Analysis of Law, Economics and Institutions” at the Amedeo Avogadro University of Eastern Piedmont, Department of Law and Political, Economic, and Social Sciences.

He is member of the scientific council of the “Contemporary Labour Law Review”, published by the NNLE Center for Contemporary Labour Law, member of the editorial board of the “Journal of Contemporary Law”, published by the International Black Sea University, and ordinary member of the Center for Contemporary Labour Law at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He has been visiting professor at the International Black Sea University, Department of Law, and at the Georgian Technical University, Faculty of Law and International Relations, and has also participated as a teacher in the Erasmus+ programme “Legal Information Technology Community – LITC”, coordinated by the Danubius University of Galati.
