Ketevan Chkheidze

Associate Professor in Gender Studies

Ketevan Chkheidze holds an MA degree from Central European University (2006) and a Ph.D. from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2014); she also was a visiting fellow at Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey (2011).

Ketevan has worked with a number of international organizations and projects, and she has more than 10 years of consultancy experience on gender equality, including in South Caucasus and Central Asia. As an invited lecturer, she has a teaching experience for graduate and undergraduate programs at the Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2014-2022). Her research interests include women in development processes, women and economic development, womenโ€™s entrepreneurship, private sector initiatives for promoting gender equality, gender equality policy, and related issues.
