Ivanna Machitidze obtained her MA degree in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University (Hungary-Austria) and the PhD degree from Donetsk National University (Ukraine) with specialization in Political Science. Dr. Machitidze was holding the position of the Program Coordinator of the BA International Relations (January 2014 – September 2019) and MA International Relations and Politics Programs (September 2017 – September 2019) at the International Black Sea University (Tbilisi, Georgia). Since January 2019 Dr. Machitidze is the Accreditation Expert of educational programs in the field of Political Science and International Relations. Ivanna teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in both English and Georgian at the New Vision University and International Black Sea University. Her research interests include regionalism and democratization-related issues with a focus on Eastern Europe and Russia.
