Gocha Pirtskhalaishvili was awarded the Ph.D. in Medicine by Tbilisi State Medical University in 2006. Since 2014, he is is endoscopist at New Vision University Hospital. He has long experience of working as an endoscopist in Tbilisi and Moscow. In 1989-90, Mr. Pirtskhalaishvili served as a doctor-surgeon of the Clinical Hospital N8, while in 1993-1994, he worked as a doctor- endoscopist at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine (Moscow, Russia). In 1994-1996, Mr. Pirtskhalaishvili also performed his duties as an endoscopist at the Moscow Veterans Hospital, while in 1996-2002, he was Head of the Endoscopic Department for the Moscow Third Hospital for Infectious Diseases. Throughout 2004-2014, Mr. Pirtskhalaishvili was the Head of Endoscopic Department at the clinic N1 of Tbilisi State Medical University. He is the author of more than twenty scientific publications.
