Giorgi Bezhuashvili
Invited Lecturer in Politics and International Relations

Giorgi Bezhuashvili holds bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University for Humanities Tbilisi Campus, Masters in Economics and Technology from Paris University Sud 11 and Masters in Electricity Sector from Comillas Pontificia Universidad de Madrid. Also, he passed Master of Science courses in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology.

In past Mr. Bezhuashvili occupied senior management positions at Georgian International Energy Corporation (2008-2009), Georgian Industrial Group (2009-2012) and headed the state-owned Georgian Energy Development Fund (2013-2015). Mr. Bezhuashvili also managed private equity (2015) and was the Deputy CEO of the Georgian Renewable Power Company (2016-2019). He currently leads business development and innovation at DTEK Renewables, Ukraine.

During 2009-2010 he was invited by the Italian State Agency for New Technologies, Energy and the Environment to do a research in Photovoltaic policy framework for Italian energy sector reform.

Mr. Bezhuashvili has been lecturing on energy sector at the American University for Humanities Tbilisi campus (2009 – 2013).
