Giorgi Bedianashvili
Associate Professor in Archeology

Giorgi Bedianashvili received his degrees in archaeology at Sorbonne University (Masters) and the École pratique des hautes études (Ph.D.). He was also a Carnegie Fellow at Perdue University in Indiana (2010) and an Honorary fellow at the University of Melbourne (2015). He is the lead editor of the scientific journal Moambe of the Georgian National Museum and co-director of project GAIA, Georgian-Australian investigations in Archeology.

 

Giorgi Bedianashvili has participated in both international research projects and large-scale commercial archaeological projects in Georgia and in Australia (colonial and aboriginal sites). He has authored a number of scientific papers, as well as edited scientific books.
