In 1992 George Gogniashvili graduated from German High School №6 and then continued his studies in Tbilisi Medical Institute "Skhivi" and got a degree of Doctor of Internal Medicine in 1999. During 2001-2006 he did residency in ENT Department of Tbilisi State Medical Academy and Tbilisi State Medical University. Last 3.5 years of his residency he spent in Germany in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Department of Greifswald State University Clinic under supervision of Professor Werner Hosemann. After returning to Georgia in 2006 he got certified as an Otolaryngologist.

In 2006, George Gogniashvili began working as an Otolaryngologist in S. Khechinashvili ENT Clinic. In 2007, he continued working in N. Kipshidze TSMU Central University Clinic.

In 2008, Dr. Gogniashvili entered Ph.D program and began working on the scientific work “Diagnostic Importance of Rhinoresistometry and Acoustic Rhinometry” under supervision of Prof. Sh. Japaridze. In 2011, he was awarded Academic Degree of Doctor of Medicine.

In 2012, ENT Dr. Gogniashvili was appointed as a Head of ENT Dept. in New Hospitals where he spent 5 years. From 2017 till present, Dr. he has been appointed as a Clinical Director in French – German Khujadze-Gogniashvili ENT Clinic.

In 2019, along with his clinical work, Dr. George was elected as an Associated Professor at New Vison University, school of Dentistry.

From 2001, he has been a member of Georgian Otolaryngology Association and from 2004 German Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Association.
