George Fayad completed his training in general medicine in Belgium and France, following which he was trained in the specialty of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) in Europe and the United States. He is currently the Chairman of the ENT Department at Basildon University Hospital, Essex; Lead Rhinologist and Lead Clinician for Sleep Disorders. Elected Governor and Member of the International College of Surgeons (2008-2011). Successfully set up his private practice (2004).

Areas of expertise include innovative surgical procedures, such as the Breathe Implant for nasal valve collapse; Incision-Free Pinnaplasty; Balloon Sinuplasty and also an expert on vertigo and balance problems.
