Federica De Robertis holds a law degree from Bologna University - Faculty of Law (Italy). She spent a two-year period abroad working for the European Commission in Brussels, DG Agriculture. She was admitted to the bar in 2006 and she has been a practicing lawyer since then, taking care of maritime cases and public clients. She has been an expert in the field of Maritime Law since 2010 at the University D'Annunzio of Pescara, Faculty of Economics. Since 2019 she has been teaching as Adjunct Professor of Comparative Commercial Law at University of Milan - Faculty of Linguistic Mediation.
In Georgia, she was appointed as Visiting Professor of Navigation Law and European Union Law at Georgia Technical University - Tblisi (2019-2020)
Visiting Professor of Navigation Law and European Law at International Black Sea University - Tblisi (2019-2020). Being author of several publications, above all in the maritime law field, she is also an editor of an Italian Law Journal (P.Q.M.).
