
Professor in Private Law
David Kereselidze holds LL.M and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Saarland (Germany).
He is one of the founders of New Vision University and a member of its Governing Board since 2013. Since February 2020, he has been the Chairperson of the JSC New Vision Insurance Supervisory Board and since September 2021 - the Chairperson of the FC Torpedo Kutaisi Supervisory Board.
David Kereselidze was the Director of the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement (2010-2011), Director of the National Centre for Educational Accreditation (2009-2010), Dean of the Tbilisi State University Law School (2005-2008), Legal Expert and Deputy Director of Georgian-European Policy and Legal Advice Centre (1998-2005).
He has been the chief editor of Georgian Law Review since 2002.
For his input in the reform of Georgian higher education and development of the science of law, Mr. Kereselidze was awarded doctor honoris causa by the University of Georgia in 2010.
