Badri Kobalava graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University in 1993 with a MD degree. Since 1994, after completing his internship training, he has been practicing surgery. He holds state certificates in General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Endocrine Surgery and Transplantation. Passed training: General Surgery – Michael DeBakey Department of Surgery, Baylor Medical College, Houston, USA (2001); General and Colorectal Surgery - Liverpool Royal University Hospital, Great Britain (2004); Laparoscopic Surgery - Istanbul University, Çapa clinical center, Istanbul, Turkey (2014); Transplantation - Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, USA (2016); Liver and Kidney Transplantation - Seoul National University Clinic (2016). Currently he works as a general and ontological surgeon at the Aversi Clinic. Mr. Kobalava is a fellow of the Ph.D. program at the NVU.
