Associate Professor in Civil Law
In 2000, Amiran Giguashvili was awarded the qualification of Lawyer by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2020, by the decision of the Academic Board of Tbilisi New Vision University, he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Law. From 2011, he realizes pedagogic activity. Amiran Giguashvili is a member of the Bar Association of Georgia with a specialization in common law. He is Chairman of the Criminal Law Committee of Georgian Bar Association and Trainer of Educational Center. He has undergone professional training of various types and certified programs. For years he had occupied important positions in public offices. He was representative of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia in Ukraine. He has received a Certificate of Gratitude for the contribution made in the development of the Georgian Bar Association. He is the author of various articles on law and policy issues. Amiran Giguashvili realizes active rights-protection activities in the civil sector. He is the founder and chairman of the Non-Governmental Organization Policy and Law Center.
