Alessandro Cenerelli is a lawyer, law professor and government officer. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Law and has been a Visiting Researcher at the Higher School of Economics (Russia) and a Research Fellow at the Luigi Vanvitelli University of Campania (Italy). Furthermore, Mr. Cenerelli has served as an Adjunct Professor of Comparative Law at the State University of Milan (Italy) and has taught seminars in Georgia, Russia and Spain. In addition to being a member of the European Law Institute (ELI) and of the Research Network on EU Administrative Law (ReNEUAL), he is also the founder and coordinator of the Research Group on the Constitutional Foundations of Public Administration, operating under the International Association of Constitutional Law (IACL).
Mr. Cenerelli has been a speaker or moderator at several international conferences and has contributed to organize meetings, workshops and other joint scientific activities with European and Asian universities.
His research fields include administrative law, public procurement law, constitutional law, comparative public law and administrative sciences, with a particular focus on the legal systems of Eastern Europe and Eurasia. On these topics he has written articles and essays in English, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
