June 2 - In the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair, a meeting was organised to which professors involved in teaching EU law courses at different universities were invited. The meeting discussed the promotion of cooperation on research projects, joint publications and
educational initiatives. The latest research findings and ideas on teaching methods were also exchanged.
May 20 – Professor Gaga Gabrichidze held a public lecture on the topic "Impact of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement on the legal order of Georgia." He addressed the current normative structure at both unilateral and bilateral levels as the determining factor for the legislative impact of EU law on the Georgian legal order.
May 22 - Dr. Benedikt Harzl, Associate Professor of the Centre for East European Law and Eurasian Studies of the Law Faculty of the University of Graz (Austria) conducted the workshop on academic publishing. The event was organized for the MA and PhD students and academic staff. The attendees had an opportunity to get information on the editorial process and academic publishing guidelines with the focus on Review of Central and East
European Law (RCEEL).
May 27 - Professor Gaga Gabrichidze delivered a public lecture titled "The Constitutional order of Georgia and its adaptability to the EU-Georgia Association Agreement." During the lecture, Professor Gabrichidze examined the position of the Association Agreement within the framework of Georgia's domestic legal order. The scope of its application and potential constitutional implications were scrutinized, addressing whether the agreement's implementation might give rise to constitutional challenges.

May 15 - Professor Gaga Gabrichidze held a public lecture entitled "Monitoring and dispute settlement mechanisms in the association agreements of the EU". The lecture specifically addressed the association agreements between the EU and Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, where commitment to aligning national laws with EU regulations is paramount. Professor Gabrichidze gave a detailed overview of the mechanisms designed for monitoring and resolving disputes within these agreements.

May 8 - Professor Gaga Gabrichidze delivered a public lecture on "The human rights clause as a part of conditionality in European Union–Georgia relations." The lecture delved into the evolution of political conditionality, which has become a cornerstone of the EU's external policy since the early nineties. Focused on EU-Georgia relations, Professor Gabrichidze provided a concise overview of the the place, significance, and function of human rights clauses within the legal framework of the bilateral ties. The lecture scrutinized the role of human rights clauses in international agreements of the EU, analyzing specific articles within EU-Georgia bilateral documents and autonomous instruments.

November 21 - Professor Gaga Gabrichidze delivered an public lecture on the "Implementation challenges of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement“. The lecture underscored the intricate and extensive nature of the implementation process, emphasizing its profound impact on the Georgian legal system. Professor Gabrichidze analyzed the primary challenges arising from legal, constitutional, and institutional aspects related to the implementation of the Association Agreement.
November 14 – In the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair, a meeting was organised to which professors involved in teaching EU law courses at different universities were invited. The main aim of the meeting was to establish links and lay the foundations for future cooperation.
