Film Lighting Technician
The lighting technician is responsible for correct and quality lighting during filming. Discusses the artistic concept of the work to be done with the director, cameraman and artist. According to the concept of the material, he chooses the appropriate lighting equipment, equipment, accessories, cables, electric generator. Manages the lighting system during the shooting and is responsible for the flawless operation of the lighting system and the perfect performance of the set goal. Responsible for compliance with the rules of use of equipment.
The duration of the program is 26 weeks, with 8 hours per week, learning outcomes are evaluated through formative and deterministic evaluation. Formative assessment is planned every week, and determinative assessment of learning outcomes is planned in week 26 - survey and practical assignment with observation. The training will be carried out in the film school and partner organization. Students will gain theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills.
After achieving the learning outcomes provided for in the framework of the professional training program, the graduate will receive a certificate recognized by the state along with an appendix, which records the knowledge and skills achieved by the person within the program. In addition, the graduate will receive a certificate from New Vision University's partner, Maharishi International University School of Cinematic Arts (Iowa, USA).
