INSTITUTE FOR POLICY RESEARCH AND EUROPEAN STUDIES (IPRES)

The Institute for Policy Research and European Studies (IPRES) is an academic research center established within New Vision University, dedicated to advancing scholarly work in the fields of international relations, political science, and European studies. The Institute aims to promote the development of scholarly research in the fields of international relations, political science, and European studies. It supports the production of high-standard academic research through cooperation with universities, research centers, and scholars throughout Europe and beyond. IPRES also supports creation of sustainable international academic networks and the internationalization of research conducted in Georgia.

IPRES brings together Georgian scholars with expertise in political science and international relations, fostering academic research grounded in theoretical depth and methodological rigor.

The mission of the Institute is to encourage the implementation of local and international research projects within the framework of the declared mission of the university. IPRES also aims to generate new interdisciplinary knowledge through collaboration across political science, international relations, and related disciplines. The Institute seeks to integrate Georgian academic activity into global scientific debates, as well as to create opportunities for joint research, conferences, and publications. The Institute further fosters the production of scholarly works addressing developments in Georgia and the wider Black Sea region, with particular emphasis on analyzing European political processes and elucidating Georgia’s role within them.
