
Two-day workshop by Carl Zeiss Microscopic Laboratory
On October 28-29, the Carl Zeiss Microscopy Teaching and Research Laboratory of New Vision University organized a two-day seminar: "Emerging Advanced Microscopy Platform at NVU to Make Life Sciences Better".
The Microscopy Laboratory is an open scientific and educational platform that promotes the development of Georgian science in the field of cell biology and tissue engineering technologies.
The first day of the seminar was dedicated to meeting practicing physicians and researchers, and the next day students had the opportunity to get familiar with the latest digital 3D / 4D imaging features at the micro and nano levels.
During the seminar, presentations were made by Pavle Chelidze, Head of the Microscopic Laboratory; Lili Nadaraia, Engineer-Researcher of the Laboratory and Mzia Zhvania, Professor at Ilia State University, Head of the Brain Ultrastructure and Nanoarchitectonics of the Laboratory of Experimental Biomedicine. They presented information on one of the first fundamental studies conducted within the framework of institutional cooperation. The research is carried out in the field of neuroscience with the participation of the scientific staff of the Ivane Beritashvili Experimental Biomedicine Center and the Agricultural University.
The goal of the University is to consolidate the resources of educational and research institutions of Georgia to promote the development of science in the country, the introduction of innovation and the presentation of Georgia's research potential at the global level.
