Training on innovative methods of teaching medicine

On July 10, 2021 staff professional development training on innovative teaching methods was conducted. The training was a good demonstration of inter-university cooperation and was attended by Irma Grdzelidze ,Head of the Quality Service of Tbilisi State University and Irina Pkhakadze ,Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Akaki Tsereteli State University as speakers. The trainers talked about modern methods of evaluating learning outcomes, the peculiarities of their use, their strengths and weaknesses. New challenges related to the pandemic and best practices in this area at various universities were also discussed.

The second part of the training was dedicated to the "objectively structured clinical trial" (OSCE) and was intended for representatives of schools of medicine and dentistry, which participate in the teaching-assessment components of clinical modules.
