TRAINING OF TRAINERS IN CINEMATOGRAPHY

Representatives from the Maharishi International University’s School of Cinematic Arts conducted a two-week Training of Trainers program from January 29 to February 9, 2024.

The program covered cinematography, lighting design, video editing, and film production management.

It was led by Amine Kouider, MFA, an award-winning filmmaker and Chair of the Department of Cinematic Arts and New Media. Other notable faculty members included Cody Olivas, MFA, Assistant Professor of Cinematic Arts & New Media, and Matthew Kalil, Assistant Professor of Screenwriting at the David Lynch School of Cinematic Arts. The School is located in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

The training was held within the framework of the “New Vision University School of Cinematic Arts and Film Production Studio’’ project, which is implemented with the support of USAID’s Industry-Led Skills Development Program.
