The University Impact Forum: Climate Action 2024

The University Impact Forum: Climate Action 2024 was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 11-12 September. The forum was organized by Times Higher Education, in partnership with Azerbaijan State Oil & Industry University and Sumgayit State University. The event convened international university leaders, policymakers and industry representatives. Agenda themes explored how universities must play a pivotal role in meeting the needs of the current and future generations and make climate action a core institutional objective.

New Vision University’s Professor and Co-founder, David Kereselidze, participated in the forum as the speaker on the panel – What is the role of interdisciplinary research in building climate resilience?  Speakers discussed how to build research ties between research disciplines and faculties, development of climate action strategies and developing the model committed to climate change and other pressing issues connected to climate change and SDG13.
