THE INTERNS OF THE LEGAL AID OFFICE REVIEWED THE DECISIONS OF THE EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS

On June 7, the interns of the New Vision Legal Aid Office reviewed important decisions of the European Court of Human Rights. The presentations covered the following rights protected by the European Convention on Human Rights:

• Prohibition of torture
• Protection of personal and family life
• Freedom of thought, conscience and religion 
• Freedom of expression 
• Prohibition of discrimination

This activity is incorporated into all internship programs, aiming to assist students in improving their research and public speaking skills.
