"SMART SCHOOLS FOR SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS" – A NEW PROJECT BY NVU

New Vision University (NVU) is proud to announce the beginning of the project ‘SMART Schools for Sustainable Solutions’, funded by the Council of Europe as the part of the "Student Voice – Supporting Schoolchildren Participation in Decision-Making Processes in Schools and Communities" initiative. The project aims to empower students and promote their active participation in decision-making processes through workshops on sustainable development goals (SDGs) and project management basics. The project incorporates various activities that will equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to create sustainable solutions within their communities.

Through interactive workshops, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the SDGs, project planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Students will form project groups, representing school community – students, teachers, parents, school administration and municipality representative. The group will design and implement projects that contribute to sustainable solutions in their schools.


The 'SMART Schools for Sustainable Solutions' project is a unique opportunity for students and local school community to foster their knowledge and skills in sustainable development and project management, get to know best practices in projects for sustainable development. New Vision University is committed to creating a platform for student-led initiatives that address pressing environmental and social issues, while promoting active citizenship and fostering a culture of sustainability within schools and their communities.
