"SMART SCHOOLS FOR SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS "
On September 18 and 22, within the framework of the project 'SMART Schools for Sustainable Solutions', NVU representatives held workshops on project management and sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Village Arkhiloskalo Public School and in Borjomi Public School N6.
The university representatives introduced the school community to the principles of project planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. With the involvement of mentors, the groups developed projects that address the needs of schools in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals and are fully funded within the framework of the grant project.
5 public schools from the regions of Georgia are participating in the project. The workshops were also held in LEPL Telavi King Erekle ll Public School N1, Akhaltsikhe Public School N2 and Sagarejo Public School N3. Furthermore, the implementation of the projects developed by school communities has already begun.
The project ‘SMART schools for Sustainable Solutions’ is implemented by New Vision University, with the financial support of the Council of Europe.
