On June 28, the NVU Legal Ethics Chair hosted Anna Khurtsidze, a member of the Ethics Commission at the Georgian Bar Association. Commissioner Khurtsidze lectured on Attorney Conflict of Interest in Practice.
Ms. Khurtsidze discussed the relevant provisions regarding conflict of interest in the Code of Professional Ethics for Lawyers and the Law of Georgia on Advocates.
Students of law schools and other interested parties attended the event.
The public lecture was held with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the framework of East-West Management Institute’s (EWMI) project - Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG).
