Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tyrolean Cancer Research Institute (TCRI)
2 September 2019

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between New Vision University (NVU) and Tyrolean Cancer Research Institute (Innsbruck, Austria).

The MoU aims at support early cancer diagnosis treatment through the implementation of innovative translational research activities. Cooperation between two institutions covers elaboration of joint research projects, carrying out seminars and trainings as well as exchange of research materials.

Tyrolean Cancer Research Institute (TCRI) represents a valuable partner for NVU and New Vision University Hospital (NVUH) founded on the basis of the Cancer Research Center - Martin D. Abeloff Laboratory, providing free of charge screening programs for society at large.

Establishment of Tyrolean Cancer Research Institute (TCRI) was funded by donations from the Tyrolean industry and private people all over the country. The running costs are covered again by donations, and by the research groups themselves via national and international grant applications. The main focus of the institution is to establish and maintain enforced teamwork between researchers working in the clinics and those working in the laboratory.
