Legal Ethics Clinic - Practical Course
New Vision University, with support from the USAID Rule of Law Program, is now accepting applications for its Legal Ethics Clinic. Fourth-year law and master’s students at the Faculty of Law are eligible to apply.
The clinic will be led by Medea Inasaridze, a senior lawyer at the Ethics Commission of the Georgian Bar Association. Held in a hybrid format, the course will combine online and in-person sessions.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn fundamental principles and standards of professional legal ethics;
- Study cases from the Ethics Commission of the Georgian Bar Association and the Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Court of Georgia, focusing on legal ethics;
- Review key decisions and recommendations by these institutions;
- Develop skills in drafting decisions and recommendations.
Graduates will receive a certificate upon completing the course. Interested students should complete the registration form by November 30, 2024.
