International Clinical Rotations as Part of Personalised Education
From 16 August, 2021, NVU MD program students from the UK started their clinical rotations in the Essex general practice hospitals. This is an important step to enhance implementation of personalized education at the University. This will reduce the Covid-19 pandemic driven inconveniences of students related to clinical studies. As part of their personalised education students are exposed to observation, clinical reasoning, bedside learning and developing clinical skills in the hospital environment that best helps to become the professional.
Rotations are supervised by NVU UK based professors and are a good example of internationalisation of education. Such an approach is crucial in cultivating their future career.
