Cooperation with Cairo October 6 University

The cooperation is practiced in the context of development of modern methods of endoprothesis under the initiative of the Embassy of Georgia in Arab Republic of Egypt.

At Scientific Innovations Summit, organized by October 6 University in Cairo in September, 2017, the doctorate student of the University B.Kanashvili presented primary results of the scientific work and assisted surgeon-orthopedist of October 6 University Clinic during surgery endoprothesis with innovative patient-specific implants (PSI).

On January 18-20, the academic staff and doctorate students of the School of Medicine were invited to the “International Arthroplasty Conference”, in Cairo; within the framework of the conference, NVU representatives conducted a workshop on the issues of preparatory and post-operative management and rehabilitation of arthritis. The target audience of the working groups were represented by orthopedics, rehabilitators, osteopaths, sports medicine doctors and other interested parties.
