COMMENTARY ON THE LABOR CODE OF GEORGIA PRESENTATION

On October 13, a presentation of the commentary book of the Labor Code of Georgia was held at New Vision University.

The commentary was prepared within the framework of the New Vision University and the International Labor Organization (ILO) project "Comprehensive labor market for creating job opportunities in Georgia", and was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The group of authors comprises esteemed experts, judges, practitioners and researchers specializing in labor law. The project was led by the editorial team consisting of Sophio Chachava, David Kereselidze, Vakhtang Zaalishvili, Zakaria Shvelidze and Ketevan Meskhishvili.

The book will be updated regularly to reflect relevant practice updates and legislative changes.

The event was attended by representatives from Ministry of IDPs from the occupied territories, labor, health and social affairs of Georgia and from the Labor Inspection Service. Among other guests were members of academia, members of employers association, professional unions, authors, judges, practicing lawyers and representatives of organizations working in the field of labor law.
