CERTIFICATION COURSE FOR FOOTBALL CLUBS MEDICAL PERSONNEL

On December 26, 27 and 28, New Vision University Clinical Skills Laboratory and Training Center organised another certification course for the Football Clubs Medical Personnel Education Programme.

The training course is based on theoretical and practical learning and aims to facilitate the management of emergencies in football practice. Within the framework of the course, the participants are given the opportunity to perform practical exercises based on simulated scenarios. The scenarios holistically cover the management of life-threatening situations and the therapy of traumatic injuries with the latest methods.

As a result of the course, 48 medical personnel (doctors, physiotherapists, massage therapists) of the Georgia national football team and national leagues were trained. The success rate of participants of this training is 78.9%, which is significantly higher than the results from previous years. New Vision University awarded successful participants with certificates accredited by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

As an exclusive partner of the Football Clubs Medical Personnel Education Programme, New Vision University is organising the course for the third time. The course is accredited by the Regulation Agency of the above-mentioned ministry.
