AWARDING THE WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION “DETECTIVE OF THE YEAR 2022”

On June 22, the winners of the „Detective of the Year 2022" literary competition were awarded at New Vision University.

The project manager Mamuka Khantadze spoke about the competition. According to him, a total of 69 works were submitted, from which 24 participants made it to the finals.

The critic and the chairman of the jury, Giorgi Kakabadze, introduced the criteria to the finalists, according to which the winners were selected; he also pointed out the mistakes that the contestants made the most. Notably, in the Detective of the Year nomination, the prize was split between two contestants.

The winners in the respective category are:

• Detective of the Year: Salome Tabatadze; Luka Khatiashvili;
• Original Story: Ana Matskepladze;
• Best Character: Onise Tirkia.

The 2023 competition will be announced at the end of the year. We look forward to new, exciting stories.
