AWARDING CEREMONY OF WINNERS OF SCHOOL OLYMPIAD 2023

On May 25, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the School Olympiad 2023 took place at NVU.

The school Olympiad was conducted in multiple rounds over a period of three months, with up to 1200 students showcasing their abilities in 5 different disciplines.

During the award ceremony, all winners received a certificate confirming the full funding of their studies at NVU and other special prizes.

 Three winners of the Life Sciences category, representing Tbilisi Sopiko Chiaureli Public School #54, Gori Public School #2, and Kutaisi Andria Razmadze Physics & Mathematical Public School #41, will visit the ZEISS Corporation in Germany. 

Students from Lagodekhi Municipality Village Ninigori Public School, Kaspi Public School #1, and Chokhatauri Public School #1 secured the first, second, and third places in the Civic Education - Legal Foundations category, earning the opportunity to visit the European Parliament in Brussels.

Three winners of the Essay and Debate contest, representing Tbilisi Free School, Kaspi Public School #1, and Village Mchadijvari Public School, will also travel to Brussels and visit the European Parliament on a study visit.

Two students from Galaktion Tabidze public school #51 and Tbilisi I. Vekua Physics-Mathematical School #42 emerged as the winners in the Business - Entrepreneurial Foundations category. As a result, both will undergo 3-month paid internships in one of the companies under New Vision Group.

The team “Leader” (Tbilisi #2 Public School #2) - The winner of the Football Tournament will attend the qualifying match of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The New Vision School Olympiad was held for the first time in 2022. This year, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students from all over Georgia could participate in the competition.
