ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON LEGAL ETHICS (1)
On June 14-15, in Batumi, New Vision University Legal Ethics Chair organized the sixth Annual Conference on Legal Ethics.
During the conference the speakers addressed challenges in the professional ethics of judges, lawyers and mediators. Speakers presented their speeches on the following ethical issues:
- Artificial intelligence in justice, ethical challenges;
- Activism within judicial ethics - Georgian and Polish experience;
- The role of a lawyer in the mediation process;
- Lawyers’ vulnerability to prevent money laundering;
- Professional ethics of mediators, practical challenges;
- Requesting information from a lawyer by the Personal Data Protection Service, ethical challenges;
- Freedom of expression of a lawyer and deontological ethics.
Professors, law students, lawyers and other interested parties attended the conference. Due to the high interest towards the conference, the event was held in a hybrid format. Therefore, any interested party could attend the conference online through the Zoom platform.
