Training on Combating Violence Against Women
From February 17 to 19, 2026, New Vision University hosted a three-day international training dedicated to the prevention, identification, and effective response to violence against women and girls.
The training was led by Prof. Dr. Sarah Heinze, Head of the Diagnostic and Research Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Medical University of Graz. The program brought together field experts and interested professionals.
During the sessions, participants explored key topics:
- Types of violence and how to identify them;
- Clinical forensic examination;
- Documentation of violence and evidence management;
- Legal framework and practical mechanisms;
- Risk assessment and effective communication.
The training combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, enabling participants to strengthen their professional competencies in the prevention of and response to violence.
