Mock Trials and Mediation in Consumer Law

On February 28 and on 7th March, 2026, New Vision University organized final oral rounds of Mock Trials and Mediation in Consumer Law. 

The project started in December 2025 and involved around 40 student teams. Over the course of three months, the participating teams were trained in legal writing, trial skills, and mediation. After that, each participating team prepared a legal opinion, a lawsuit, and a response. As a result of the selection process, the 20 best student teams were chosen to participate in the final stage of the competition.

The participating teams were evaluated by invited expert-judges - practicing lawyers and mediators, who shared detailed feedback with the participants of the event. 

After the completion of the mock trials, the winning teams in various nominations were identified, and they were given certificates and branded gifts. A few students were also awarded the opportunity to complete internships at various law firms as well as at the New Vision University Legal Aid Center. Also, New Vision University offered full and partial tuition funding to outstanding teams if they chose to continue their studies at the master's level.
