Legal Clinic on Combating Violence Against Women

Applications are now open for participation in the Legal Clinic, as part of the international project “Combating Violent Crimes against Women and Girls” (COVIOCRIME).

The program includes courses in medical, psychological, and legal assistance, and is intended for students in their 2nd to 4th years in the Schools of Law and Medicine.

Within the framework of the clinic, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Study international standards for combating violence against women, the mechanisms for their protection, and the psychological aspects of working in victim protection;
  • Learn the specific protection needs of victims and survivors;
  • Review actual criminal cases and examine court case law,  including case law of the European Court of Human Rights;
  • Explore the systems established to protect female victims and hear from forensic medical experts about evidence collection and retrieval;
  • Participate in providing services for real cases at the clinic alongside specialists.

Upon completing the program, students will be able to provide effective legal assistance to women victims of violence and share their acquired knowledge with secondary school students, thereby contributing to awareness-raising and preventive education.

Participation in the Legal Clinic is free of charge.

Project duration: 6 months, from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certificates.

Interested candidates should register using the link provided until March 4, 2026.

Participants will be selected based on a motivation letter and an interview.
