Review of the European Court of Human Rights Case Law

On June 19, a review of important decisions of the European Court of Human Rights was held at the New Vision University Legal Aid Center. Legal interns at the Center gave presentations on the ECHR's precedent-setting decisions concerning the following rights protected by the European Convention on Human Rights:

• Article 4 – Prohibition of slavery and forced labor
• Article 6 – Right to a fair trial
• Article 10 – Freedom of expression
• Article 11 – Freedom of assembly and association
• Article 14 – Prohibition of discrimination

The purpose of the event was to deepen the interns' knowledge in human rights law, improve their research skills, and share experiences.
