
Conference "Social Innovations for Sustainable Regional Development"
Representatives of New Vision University participated in the international conference "Social Innovations for Sustainable Regional Development," which was held at Klaipeda University, Lithuania, on May 8-9.
Tinatin Gabrichidze, Dean of the School of Education and Head of the Strategic Development Committee, presented a report titled "University Student-Led Teaching for Sustainable Development: A Social Innovation Approach to Civic and Sustainability Education in Schools," which examined teaching methods and approaches in the field of sustainable development and civic education. The report emphasized the "learning by teaching" approach and project-based learning, which is based on New Vision University's experience.
The conference also featured participation from the university's co-founder and professor David Kereselidze with a presentation titled "Modernizing Society Through Football's 'Soft Power'," where he presented the role of football in social transformation, which is one of the university's significant research directions.
The conference aimed to discuss issues of social innovations and sustainable regional development, which aligns with New Vision University's mission - supporting sustainable development and promoting positive changes in society.
