International Mediation Tournament
The joint team from New Vision University and Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau achieved significant success at the INADR Law School Mediation International Tournament held on March 5-8, 2025. The team was awarded the prestigious "Caise Ellis Spirit of Mediation" award for their exceptional mastery in demonstrating the fundamental principles of mediation.
The INADR tournament is a prestigious international event, which was organized this year in Georgia by the University of Georgia's Faculty of Law. It brought together student teams from various countries around the world. Participants performed the roles of parties, advocates, and mediators in simulated mediation processes, thereby deepening their practical skills in conducting negotiations, protecting client interests, and resolving conflicts.
The team consisted of New Vision University students Mariam Koberidze and Luka Rapava, who spent the 2024-25 winter semester at Technical University Wildau as part of an exchange program, as well as Nima Ilenburg, a student in the Business and Law Master's program at Technical University Wildau.
It is particularly noteworthy that the collaboration between New Vision University and Technical University Wildau's Business and Law Master's program has been successfully continuing for ten years, which promotes students' acquisition of international experience and professional development.
The team was led by Dr. Greg Bond, an experienced mediator and professor at both universities, who also conducted two specialized trainings at New Vision University during the tournament period.
